We have been providing a safe, fun-packed facility since 1949 to children and young people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Read the fascinating story of how the Club was founded towards the end of WWII.

more about us

The aim of The Brunswick Club for Young People is to provide a safe and friendly environment in which young people can develop their physical, creative, mental, and social skills through their leisure time activities. Originally formed in 1945 with donations pledged by British prisoners of war held in Brunswick, Germany, the strong traditions and values of the Club have seen it continue to thrive to the present day.  The Club is now a purpose built youth centre, offering educational and leisure services and facilities to children and young people aged from 7-19 years.  Open seven days a week, with an active membership of over 850 and an average daily attendance of 90+, the Club enjoys a good level of respect and support in the local community.  In 2016 we were awarded a Bronze Level London Youth Quality Mark, a quality assurance scheme, a programme accredited by City and Guilds.  You can read about our current work in the News section of this website and about our past work in the Reports section.  Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
