The Brunswick Thursday Club

Thursday Club

Thursday Club

A term-time after-school club providing activities for 8-16 year old boys and girls with moderate learning difficulties.  Please note, the Thursday Club is now closed.  It will re-open in September 2017, after the summer holidays.

4.00pm – 6.00pm

The children who come to the Brunswick Thursday Club have a range of learning difficulties, including Down Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome, Global Development Delay, Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia.  Our aims in providing the Club are to:

Increase their confidence;

Develop their life skills, particularly their ability to socialise and make friends; and

Make sure they have lots of fun!

While at the Club the children enjoy exclusive use of the Club facilities, taking part in a range of fun activities such as cooking, arts & crafts, gym games, football, boccia, pool, table tennis, Wii and a sensory corner. During the year we also arrange outings to exciting places like Chessington and Bocketts Children’s Farm.

For more information about the Thursday Club give us a call on 020 7385 4856 or you can read what the young people and their parents/carers have to say about it in our 2014/15 Evaluation Report.
