The Brunswick Club – Winners: Lifetime Achievement Award

The Brunswick Club – Winners: Lifetime Achievement Award

We are delighted and extremely proud that The Brunswick Club for Young People received the Lifetime Achievement award at Hammersmith & Fulham’s 2019 Civic Honours ceremony on Wednesday 12th June 2019.  The annual H&F Civic Honours are a moment for the borough to recognise and thank the people who’ve made Hammersmith & Fulham a stronger, kinder, better place.

The Lifetime Achievement award is given to an individual or community organisation that has provided an outstanding service to the community over many years. The Brunswick Club was nominated for the amazing work Club Manager, Danny Volino, and his staff team have done over the past 30 years and more, creating a safe space for young people to thrive and grow in the heart of Fulham.

The award was presented to members of the Brunswick staff team by Leader of the Council, Cllr Stephen Cowan, and Hammersmith & Fulham’s Youth Mayor, Scarlett Knowles.  You can read about the event, and the fantastic contributions made by the people and organisations who go that extra mile to make Hammersmith and Fulham such a great place to live, here.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who nominated us and we’re looking forward to another 30 years of providing a safe haven and a wealth of activities for the children and young people of Hammersmith & Fulham.
